Out of Wilderness Magazine Wants Photos

Job Description: Out of Wilderness Magazine is a digital platform which seeks to encourage the discourse on topics pertaining to environmental and wildlife conservation through digital journalism and photography. OOW is currently seeking photographers for our January 2017 Issue who are interested in having their work featured in OOW. The focus of OOW’s January Issue is human-wildlife proximity, and interested photographers should have a portfolio of work on this topic available for review. Please be aware that we will only be considering submissions for photography which depicts or captures the proximity between wildlife and humans (i.e. bears entrenching on neighbourhoods in Colorado, etc).

In terms of pay structure, photographers are compensated at a rate of $50 (CAD) for a feature of 7-10 of their high-resolution photographs. We will only accept high-resolution photography (no Instagram photos please).
