We’ve got some exciting things up our red and white sleeves, including a redesign and a new feature called Pimp My Project. As writers, we’ve always got a new blog, a new book, or a published article we want to crow about. To get the page off to a healthy start, please send in your project to info@freelancewritingjobs.ca. Please be the original creator or author (I don’t want this to become a PR agency dump) and be Canadian. So it doesn’t bother people who just want to come here for the listings, Pimp My Project will have its own page, just like “Find a Writer” does now. Depending on how many projects we get on the page, we’ll publish a summary note on the front page weekly, once every two weeks, or monthly.
While our audience is mostly coming here for writing information, we’d love to hear if you have an article being published in an upcoming edition of a magazine, or a book coming out whether it’s published or self-published. It will give you a backlink, and let the community know what you’re up to.
We’d also like to hear any ideas you’ve got about what you want from this site, or what you’d like to see in a redesign. The bonked RSS feed will be fixed shortly.
